recently saw this MGA episode, thought it was one of the best before and after changes. The return to its original black was a fine choice.

what’s your pick for their best (visual) changes?

Agree, one of their best choice of cars / results.

The worst is any time they have painted something orange or otherwise tried to appeal to the yutes. The Pacer comes to mind.

I dunno, I thought this was a generally unappealing car made “funky”

if I recall, they lost money on it, so that’s the truest measure I suppose.

they have started listed labour hours in their rundown. but the shows premise was always meant to be what could be done on your own, and thus your labour, and thus “free”

they really shouldn’t be allowed near vinyl should they. the rx7, the pacer, the WRX, some of their worst work all involved vinyl

I just saw the Fiat 500 episode the other day. I think they did a really nice job with that.

There is funky, which an AMC Pacer is to start with, and then there is taking it way, way too far. Just how big of a market did they think exists for a Pacer/alien spaceship mashup?

in for worst, I thought camper van they did was a tragedy (yet another vinyl wrap) until they revealed it was really just a toy for Edd :D

I like how they started adding labor hours. Was it the MGA that they said was 26 man hours? That and a $10000 profit isn’t too shabby. But there’s been many episodes where Edd had the engine out of a car and in the end they only make 500 quid on it. I watch those and think, how can they afford to keep this up? Edd worked on this car for a week solid and his share of the profits is only a few hundred bucks.
